To ensure the sustainable success of Hastings Hotels, we invest in the development of our future leaders through two bespoke programmes: Developing Potential and Developing Leaders, designed to nurture talent and equip employees with the skills needed to excel.

Participants engage in workshops, project work, coaching and assessments to apply learning in real-world scenarios and reflect on their growth. Through bespoke programmes, coaching and hands-on learning, we ensure our leaders of tomorrow are prepared to inspire teams, make an impact and shape the future of Hastings Hotels.

Developing Potential

It is designed for supervisors, new managers or managers looking to enhance their skills. Delivered through three interactive workshops and tailored e-learning modules, the programme focuses on:

  • The Customer Experience – guest needs and delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Team Performance – building high-performing teams and effective communication.
  • Business, Finance and Sustainability – KPIs and financial awareness.

Developing Leader

It is a six-month programme, designed to equip senior managers with practical leadership skills, mindset and tools to excel in their roles. The programme focuses on:

  • Leadership Skills – enhancing decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Communication – strengthening coaching, mentoring and team management.
  • Continuous Learning – fostering a culture of innovation and ongoing development.
