What is the difference between a Gift Card and an Experience Gift?

Gift Cards - Gift cards are plastic credit card sized cards or a PDF download, of monetary value. They are redeemable in all Hastings Hotels establishments and have no expiry date. 

Experience Gift - An Experience Gift is for a specific experience in a specific hotel and has no expiry date.

What can I buy with a Gift Card?

Any experience … from overnight stays, dining in the restaurant, drinks at the bar, spa treatments and afternoon teas.

How do I redeem a Gift Card?

Make your reservation in the normal manner and present the gift card or printed PDF download on arrival. Gift Cards are not redeemable online.

What value do Gift Cards come in?
Any value, if you require a value that is not available online, please contact our Gift Department on 028 9047 1066.

Does the amount have to be spent all at once?
Some or all of the money can be spent, any balance remains on the Gift Card.

Can I send a Gift Card to someone at different address?

Yes – just enter the recipient’s name and address in the delivery section of checkout and we can send a Gift Card straight to them. The occasion can be selected during checkout, and we will include the appropriate card insert.

What are the postage options?

Standard Mail : Your order will be posted using Royal Mail’s First Class Service, please allow up to 7 working days for processing and UK delivery.

International Mail : For orders being delivered to an address outside of the UK.

My gift card has not arrived…

We would advise you to allow approximately 7 working days for delivery of your Gift Card. If your card has still not arrived, please contact us at gifts@hastingshotels.com or on 028 9047 1066.

How can I check the balance on a Gift Card?

At any Hastings Hotels establishment or by calling 028 9067 4160. The available balance is also shown on the till receipt issued following a transaction.

Is there an expiry date on a Gift Card?

No, gift cards do not have an expiry date.

How do I activate a Gift Card?
No activation is necessary.

What happens if a Gift Card is lost, stolen or damaged?

Gift Cards have cash value and should be safeguarded accordingly. They cannot be redeemed or replaced if lost, stolen or damaged, under any circumstances.

Can I return a Gift Card?

Gift cards cannot be returned or cancelled after the purchase is confirmed. Gift cards are non-refundable.

Online PDF delivery is automatically generated and should be received immediately to the email address provided, please check your junk folder.

We would advise you to allow approximately 7 working days for postal delivery of the Gift Card. If your Experience Gift has not arrived within the timescales advised, please contact us at gifts@hastingshotels.com or on 028 9047 1066.

Is there an expiry date on an Experience Gift Card?

No, Experience Gifts do not have an expiry date. Please note the customer will be responsible for any shortfall, if the price of the experience has increased when the Experience Gift is redeemed.

What happens if an Experience Gift is lost, stolen or damaged?

Experience Gifts have cash value and should be safeguarded accordingly. They cannot be redeemed or replaced if lost, stolen or damaged, under any circumstances.

Can I return an Experience Gift?

ONLINE PDF : A printable PDF voucher will be sent to the email address provided in the delivery section at checkout.

2. REDEEM –  Gift Cards can be redeemed in the following establishments: Ballygally Castle Hotel - Antrim Coast, Culloden Estate & Spa – Belfast, the Spa at the Culloden, Cultra Inn Restaurant, Europa Hotel - Belfast, Everglades Hotel – Londonderry, Grand Central Hotel – Belfast, Slieve Donard Resort & Spa - Newcastle, the Spa at Slieve Donard, Percy French Restaurant and Stormont Hotel – Belfast. Gift Cards are not redeemable online.

3. It is imperative that the Gift Card or printed PDF voucher is presented for use, otherwise an alternative payment method will be required. Receipts or confirmation emails will not be accepted as valid forms of payment.

4. If the amount on the Gift Card is not redeemed entirely, the balance can be applied to future experiences.

5. Gift Cards may be used for experiences of a higher value than the amount on the Gift Card, on payment of the difference.

6. Gift Cards are non-refundable and will not be exchanged for cash.

7. Gift Cards have no expiry date.

8. Gift Cards have cash value and should be safeguarded accordingly. Gift Cards will not be redeemed or replaced if lost, stolen or damaged.

9. Hastings Hotels reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of Gift Cards at any time. This does not affect your statutory rights.

 The holder of a Hastings Hotels VIP Card is entitled to :
• Accommodation Upgrade

 Terms & Conditions:

• Not applicable for online bookings.
• VIP card must be presented on check-in and can only be redeemed on one occasion.
• One glass of house wine or one bottle of beer per person (max. 2 people). No other drinks will be substituted.
• No cash alternative. Lost cards will not be replaced and cannot be redeemed.
• One VIP card per customer.

Terms & Conditions:

• Voucher valid against accommodation, drinks, dining or spa experiences.
