We thoroughly enjoyed the Everglades Hotel - first class staff, very comfortable (especially the beds) and fine food. The tour of Derry walls was illuminating and we felt so welcome everywhere we went.
As for my own stay, we had an amazing time. I must actually email them because the service was faultless and there's such a lovely, warm atmosphere in the hotel - not at all '5 star' intimidating. My therapist was brilliant too, it was one of the best treatments I've had.
However, the Stormont Hotel cleverly manages to combine luxury and relaxation with the practicality and professionalism it has become renowned for. Brimming with sophistication, our room was spacious with all the mod cons including a decent sized bathtub and power shower, a ridiculously comfortable queen size bed, temperature control and a widescreen plasma TV.
