Many a great deal has been thrashed out on the golf course. And with the calibre of courses in Northern Ireland, it’s no wonder. Let us arrange a business ‘Stay and Play’ for you at the Stormont Hotel.
And of course if your trip is for pure pleasure, you’ve hit the golf jackpot. Hone that handicap. Perfect that swing. Then relax with some post game analysis over a cocktail or two in our ’19th hole’.
There are over 20 in the Greater Belfast area alone. For the experience of a lifetime, play a round at Royal Belfast, Ireland’s oldest golf club, established in 1881. Or soak up the scenery at one of the top courses nearby including Knock, Helen’s Bay and Shandon Park or Rory McIlroy’s Holywood!
Knock GC is regarded as one of the finest parkland courses in Ireland. With a demanding par of 70 reputed to be one of the most difficult in the country, its narrow tree lined fairways, proliferation of bunkers and quick greens, will test visitors of all abilities and ensure an exceptional golfing experience!
Founded in 1895 ‘The Knock Golf Club’ is one of the oldest and most established golf clubs in Northern Ireland. The club moved to its present location in 1920 with the purchase of Summerfield, which today sits on the edge of The Stormont Estate in leafy East Belfast. The top-ranked firm of course architects ‘Colt, Mackenzie and Allison’, who left such an indelible mark on world golf were retained by the club to design the course you see today!
We have arranged that guests will play Knock at a concessionary green fee equal to the clubs current ‘playing with a member’ rate! Tee times are available throughout the week including weekends. On days when Club competitions are being played, tee times will be limited. Early booking is recommended.
