What time is check-in?

Check in is from 3pm onwards. You can however arrive and avail of the Spa active floor from 12noon on the day of arrival.

Can I organise an early check-in?

Guaranteed check in is 3pm however we can add an early arrival inventory to your reservation and your room will be prioritized although this cannot be guaranteed. The only way to truly guarantee is to book the room the night prior.

Can I organise a late checkout?

This service is subject to availability. A £20 per extra hour fee will be applied to the final bill for any extra hours past the checkout time. If you wish to checkout later than 4pm a full nights charge will be applied.

Can I make a special request for my stay?

What is your online cancellation policy?

Our online cancellation is subject to terms and conditions of accommodation package reserved. In general, bookings made via our own website can be cancelled up to 24 hours prior arrival. This does not apply to non-refundable, non-transferable booking and any bookings made via a third party site.

How do I make reservations for a large group?

Please contact groups@sdh.hastingshotels.com or phone 028437 21066 and ask for group reservations. For any special requests for large groups whilst they are here in the hotel, please contact guestservices@sdh.hastingshotels.com and also for any arrangements for arrival or departure

Family or interconnecting rooms?

Yes, we do indeed. We have 30 x family rooms in total comprising of a super kingsize bed and a single bed or 2 x Double Beds Some of our rooms can facilitate a 2nd single bed in the room but clients must be advised that space will be restricted and a further supplement will be applied. We have 14 x interconnecting guest rooms.

Wheelchair friendly rooms?

Yes we have 2 x fully disabled double rooms with 2 x double beds and with a full wet room.

Tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms?

Yes we have a selection of teas and coffees in all of our rooms. If there is a tea type which is not provided in the room, if a request is made, we can supply.

Ironing board and hairdryers in the guestrooms?

All of our rooms have ironing boards and hairdryers in the room. Ironing board located in wardrobe and hairdryer located in the drawer of the dresser.

Is there wi-fi available in your guestrooms?

Wifi is available throughout the hotel and in all bedrooms. A password is obtainable from reception for Slieve Public Wifi. Wifi does not support downloading or higher band width requests.

Does the hotel supply cots for babies?

Yes we have cots for children in the hotel but a request must be made prior to ensure sufficient availability.

Can I leave my luggage at the Hotel?

Certainly, our concierge will safely store your luggage in the concierge store before check in or after check out. *We do not accept any liability for damage or loss to any property whilst left on the property

What if I have forgotten an item at the hotel?

Our Lost Property Department is open daily 9am-5pm. The Lost property department can only be contacted between these times although collection arrangements can be made outside of these times. Any belongings not collected on the specified day of collection will be returned to lost property and an alternative collection date must be arranged. You can contact lost property on roomsdivision@sdh.hastingshotels.com or on 028437 21009 The charge for any postage costs will be incurred by the guest and payment must be made prior to items being returned.

Can the hotel organise airport transfers?

Yes, our concierge will be happy to make any transport arrangement. Fees apply.

Where is the nearest Bus Station to the hotel?

Only 5 minutes walk from the Hotel on Railway Street.

Is wi-fi available in the hotel?

Yes throughout the hotel via Slieve Public Wifi. A code must be obtained from reception.

Are pets permitted in the hotel?

Only guide dogs are permitted.

Are smoking rooms available at the hotel?

We do not have any smoking rooms due to the new smoking law – however we do have designated smoking areas outside the hotel.

What are the opening times of the Spa?

Our spa is open 7am – 10pm Monday – Friday and 7am – 9pm Saturday & Sunday

Can children use the Spa facilities?

We have designated swim times for children from 9am – 12pm and 2pm – 7pm daily. We also run children’s fitness classes at the weekend however places must be booked prior to arrival.

Do you have a gym?

We do have gym and also fitness’s classes that our guests can avail of, however places must be booked prior to arrival
