The Culloden Estate & Spa, Belfast scoops best Business Hotel in UK at HotelClub Awards Ceremony
The inaugural HotelClub ‘Best Hotels in Britain and Ireland’ awards were held at the prestigious Vinopolis, London on 21st June. The event recognised and honoured the leading hotels and resorts across the UK. Over 400 hoteliers were in attendance and the awards were based on on-line reviews by the customers of the hotels.
HotelClub is a leading global accommodation specialist website servicing customers in over 200 countries worldwide and they have partnered some of Britain’s key lifestyle and consumer brands to deliver a multi-country consumer poll required to determine the best hotels as voted for by consumers.
As a tribute to the outstanding quality of the hotel finalists HotelClub will be publishing GB and Ireland’s Best Hotel Guidebook in early 2008. The event was co-sponsored by Sunday Times Travel Magazine, Waterstones.com, Ebookers.com, Octupustravel.com and Irishabroad.com among others.
Awards were presented by Ben Fogle (Travel writer and TV presenter) and Holly Brisley (Holly plays Amanda Walters in the popular Australian soap, Home and Away).
Hastings Hotels were thrilled to have a clean sweep in the ‘3 Best Hotels in Northern Ireland’ category with the Culloden Estate & Spa, The Slieve Donard Resort & Spa and the Europa all picking up awards.
The Culloden Estate & Spa also won Best Business Hotel in the UK.
