A bit of background
This family-owned company has had Sir William Hastings at the helm since 1968. His vision then and now: To avoid the monotonous chain of hotels, ones that all look the same and could be anywhere in the world. At Hastings Hotels, the focus is on originality. Each hotel has its own personality and a unique experience to offer with emphasis on a quality Irish feel.
Sir William Hastings’ first hotel was the Stormont Hotel. He then bought and restored a group of run-down railway hotels, before arriving at the premium portfolio of hotels he’s now famous for today. It hasn’t been easy over the years, but with hard work, ambition, and by offering the visitor something extra special, the Hastings Hotels group continues to stand head and shoulders above the rest.
